Stand Planning Guide

Plan the position of furniture, graphics, electrics and equipment before your exhibition.

A clear and accurate stand plan helps the Moyne team prepare your exhibition stand correctly.

Use this guide before launching the online stand designer or submitting a manually prepared stand plan. Your completed layout should show the required positions of furniture, electrical sockets, lighting, televisions, graphics, shelving and other ordered services.

Please check your individual exhibition dashboard for any event-specific instructions, deadlines or stand requirements.

What To Include On Your Stand Plan

Clearly identify all products, services and important stand features.

Stand Dimensions

Show the width and depth of the stand, the location of open sides and the position of any wall panels, columns or fixed structures.

Furniture

Mark the position of tables, chairs, stools, counters, desks, storage cupboards and other ordered furniture.

Electrical Sockets

Show where sockets and power supplies are required and identify the equipment or appliance each connection will serve.

Lighting

Indicate the required positions and direction of spotlights, display lighting, lightboxes and other lighting products.

Televisions & AV

Mark the wall or stand position for televisions and other AV equipment, including the required height and orientation.

Graphics & Nameboards

Clearly identify which graphics belong on each wall panel, lightbox or display area and show the intended panel order.

Shelves & Rails

Show the required position and height of shelves, garment rails, literature holders and other wall-mounted accessories.

Storage Areas

Identify cupboards, storerooms, lockable areas or enclosed sections and ensure access doors can open safely.

Special Instructions

Include any relevant notes, measurements, orientation instructions or other information needed to complete your stand correctly.

Online Stand Designer

Create a clear visual layout of your exhibition stand.

The online stand designer allows exhibitors to position stand elements and create a visual plan for the Moyne team.

Before starting, make sure you know your stand dimensions, open sides, stand number and the products or services you intend to include.

The stand designer link may vary by exhibition. Please launch it from your individual exhibition dashboard whenever possible.

Positioning & Measurements

Where an item must be installed in a specific location, include measurements from a fixed wall, corner or edge of the stand.

Avoid using vague descriptions such as “near the back” or “roughly in the middle”.

For wall-mounted items, include the preferred height from the finished floor level.

Check Clearances & Access

Allow sufficient space for doors, cupboards, walkways, seating and visitor access.

Make sure furniture and equipment do not obstruct open sides, emergency routes or access to electrical connections.

Consider how staff and visitors will move around the stand during the exhibition.

Submitting Your Completed Stand Plan

Review your stand plan carefully before uploading it.

File Information

Use a clear PDF, JPG or PNG file unless your exhibition dashboard states otherwise.

Make sure all labels, dimensions and notes are legible.

Required Details

Include your company name, exhibition name, stand number and a contact name with the submitted plan.

Upload Deadline

Submit the plan before the deadline shown inside your exhibition dashboard.

Late changes may be subject to availability or additional charges.

Changes After Submission

Contact the Moyne team as soon as possible if you need to change a previously submitted stand plan.

Do not assume that a revised position or additional service can be accommodated until the change has been confirmed.

Keep Your Plan Updated

Make sure the final submitted plan matches the products and services you have ordered.

If your order changes, update the stand plan and clearly identify the latest version when submitting it.
